Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Malus VPN (referred to as 'this Service' or 'we') collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information when providing mobile and desktop applications (the 'App'). We process data according to necessity, transparency, and security principles.
When you download, launch, or use the App, we may collect information necessary for service operation, including Internet Protocol (IP) address, device type, operating system version, app logs, connection status, and approximate region. This information is used to: 1. recommend suitable nodes and connection options; 2. analyze anonymized service quality data to improve stability; 3. send necessary account, security, or service notices. We do not use this information for advertising profiles unrelated to the VPN service.
We share aggregated or anonymized data with third-party service providers only when necessary, such as crash analysis, app distribution, and infrastructure monitoring. Except where required by law, to protect user rights, to investigate fraud, or to work with providers bound by confidentiality duties, we do not actively disclose personal information to third parties. You may uninstall the App to stop new app-side data collection.
User-provided data is retained during account activity and for a reasonable retention period afterward. To delete your account or personal profile, contact the privacy team at [email protected]. This Service is not intended for children under 13; if such information is collected by mistake, we will delete it as soon as reasonably possible. We use physical, electronic, and administrative measures to protect data security.
This Privacy Policy may be updated due to legal, product, or operational changes. Continued use after publication of updates means acceptance of the revised terms. This policy is effective from October 4, 2025. For privacy questions, contact the Malus VPN team at [email protected].
